Shift: M-F and Call (1-2 weekdays and weekends); Night call starts at 5:00 PM and goes to 7:00 AM

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult 100%
Setting: Office/Clinic 5% and Hospital 95%
Responsibilities: Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage including OR assistance, patient management in acute care and ICU settings, rounding, and clinic support
Required Procedures:

• General CV/thoracic surgery open
• Coronary artery bypass surgery on pump
• Valvular repair
• Valvular replacement

EMR System: EPIC

Support Staff:

• Office ancillary staff: RN Navigators, MAs
• Physicians in practice: 2
• Midlevels: 4

On-Call/Weekends: Yes

Submission Requirements:

• Certified PA Required
• WA license Highly Preferred (will consider provider obtaining license during credentialing)
• Clean Malpractice/Background Highly Preferred
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation Required
