Surgery - General Physician Assistant

A health services organization in New York is currently seeking a licensed Physician Assistant to join their Surgical team at one of its facilities in Rockland County.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (no weekends)
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Setting: Multi-specialty Operating Room

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in surgeries and other procedures
• Rounding on admitted patients
• Writing orders, notes, and consults on surgical patients
• Counseling patients and families
• Managing all aspects of inpatient medical care

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant (PA)
• Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant
• Certification by the NCCPA required
• ACLS certification
• Proficient ins Surgical Assistance and Patient Management
• Experience with Robotic and Multi-specialty Surgeries
• Knowledge of Surgical procedures and patient care

Desired Qualifications:

• NCCPA certification
