The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive outpatient care to pediatric patients, including well-child visits, acute care, and chronic condition management.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with diverse patient populations, including Spanish-speaking families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct well-child visits, sick visits, and developmental assessments
- Perform physical exams and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications
- Provide preventive care, immunizations, and health education
- Educate families on growth, nutrition, and overall child wellness
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems
- Active New York Nurse Practitioner license (required)
- Board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric clinical experience
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
- Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) preferred
- Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
- Monday Friday (day schedule)
