Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM - 5:00 PM
Weekend Coverage: Likely 1 weekend per month

Shift Description
No clinic or inpatient consults during weekdays
Inpatient surgical cases, pre- and postoperative rounding
All rounding done with an APP (APP creates progress and consult notes; surgeon adds note and cosigns)
Weekend coverage includes rounding with a PA, only emergent OR cases, and all new consults

Call Details
Night Call: 4:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Monday-Thursday, intermittent, shared equitably among surgeons)
Weekend Call: Friday 4:30 PM - Monday 7:00 AM
Surgical PA is first call for floor patients
CVICU has CTS APP most nights; ER will call surgeon if needed
