Urology Physician

This locum Urology position provides full-time inpatient call coverage across three facilities due to ongoing recruitment challenges. Providers will be cross-credentialed to support all locations, handling general and emergent urologic cases in a multi-site hospital system. The role offers a long-term assignment with consistent call responsibilities and strong APP support.

Job Details & Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient urology call coverage across three hospitals (Level 1, 2, and 4 trauma centers)
• Manage 6 8 consults per day with APP support handling daytime rounding and initial ER calls (8 AM 5 PM)
• Perform procedures including cystoscopy, lithotripsy, nephrectomy, transurethral resection, prostatectomy, and pyelolithotomy
• Handle primarily emergent surgical cases during call; non-emergent cases deferred to next-day surgeons
• Work with a team of physicians, APPs, RNs, and MAs
• Access to robotic systems (XI and SI) and block OR time
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Board Certified in Urology (REQUIRED)
• Washington state license (HIGHLY PREFERRED); IMLC or in-process licenses accepted
• BLS certification (REQUIRED)
• Clean malpractice/background (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
• Ability to cover multiple facilities and respond within 30 minutes (REQUIRED)
• Preference for local candidates (no flights)
• NPDB self-query report within 30 days (REQUIRED)
