Jackson and Coker is partnered with a client in the Norfolk-Virginia Beach area that needs Cardiothoracic Surgery locum tenens assistance. This assignment is expected to be extended into 2027 and will allow you to have a consistent work schedule for the foreseeable future. Are you available?

Seeking 24-hour call coverage:
7am 6/12 - 7am 6/15 (3 day stretch)
7am 6/30 - 7am 7/6 (6 days, Tuesday-Monday)
7am 7/12 - 7am 7/20 (8 days, Sunday-Monday)
7am 10/5- 7am 10/12 (1 week, M-M)
7am 10/12 - 7am 10/19 (1 week, M-M)
7am 11/9 - 7am 11/16 (1 week, M-M)
7am 11/16 - 7am 11/23 (1 week, M-M)
7am 11/23 -7am 11/30 (1 week, M-M)
7am 11/30 - 7am 12/7 (1 week, M-M)
7am 12/21 - 7am 12/28 (1 week, M-M)
7am 12/28 - 7am 1/4/2027 (1 week, M-M)

Details for Assignment :
Active + unrestricted Virginia license required
Board Certification required
Seeking CT Surgery 24-hour ED call coverage (will be required to round, do any emergent procedures, etc.)
CT APP Support available for first assist & inpatient support
Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery (VATS) experience/skill is preferred; Robotics are available while on assignment but not required
Seeing mid-low volumes currently and anticipate 3-5 cases per week, 1-2 per weekend
Epic EMR inpatient, Cerner outpatient, located in southeast Virginia, 295+ bed facility, not a designated trauma facility
