About the Role:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. You'll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education. This role collaborates closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.

Speech Language Pathologist Key Responsibilities:

Conduct compliant formalized and dynamic assessments to determine educational eligibility and level of functioning

Complete observations, evaluations, annual reviews, and triennial assessments

Develop and maintain compliant IEPs and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings

Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members to support educational benefit

Consult and collaborate with team members and families to maximize generalization of communication skills

May oversee and support Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs), including supervision and professional development support

Maintain accurate documentation of therapy notes, assessment data, and student progress

Utilize research-based data collection and reporting practices

Coordinate time off requests during school breaks to minimize disruption to student services

Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Clinical Fellows and licensed SLPs encouraged to apply

DOJ/FBI Livescan background check and TB clearance required

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Speech Language Pathologist Physical Demands:

Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes

Frequent standing, walking, reaching, handling, and lifting up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations

Ability to perform essential job functions in moderate to high noise environments, with or without accommodations
